- I don't want to advertize for a particular modem, but I was having the
- same problem with a modem and was being convinced that it was my line
- noise until, I went out and purchased a different brand. Now I get a 28.8
- connect consistantly. To me, consistantly is defined as connecting slower
- than 28.8 on 1 out of 100+ connects.
